Event Details

During the very earliest stages of child development, babies and children’s attitudes and dispositions are being influenced by their environments, the adults around them and the experiences they receive. They learn from everything that they hear, see and do. These experiences shape how children see themselves and others and they are forming assumptions and even prejudices. This course will explore what bias means and how it develops. It will support practitioners to recognise and challenge bias, and promote diversity within the early years’ environment.
