Word Aware: Teaching Vocabulary in the Early Years

Word Aware is a structured whole school/setting approach to promote the vocabulary development of all children in the early years. This approach is of particular value for 3 to 4 year old children with delayed language and Special Educational Needs.

It is also supportive for children who speak English as an additional language. This day is full of practical and inspiring ideas that can be easily applied by busy Early Years practitioners to develop spoken vocabulary. This day is relevant for 3 to 5 year olds.

This course has a maximum of 25 participants.
